Zagga, Kabaka Pyramid asked Jamaica Wah Gwaan?
Kabaka Pyramid and Zagga have a question for all Jamaicans, just in time for the 2020 general elections which was held on September 3, 2020.
The single which is titled "Jamaica Wah Gwaan" was released on September 1st, 2020 along with accompanying video via popular online music and video sharing platform Youtube.
"Jamaica Wah Gwaan" is laced with questions which most Jamaicans need answers for. One of the most asked questions is "Why did the Jamaican government call a general election when the country was facing a spike in Covid-19 cases?.
Jamaica has a huge Rastafarian community which is spread right across the length and breathe of the island. Another major issue which Rastafarians faced is the wearing of their dreadlocks hairstyle (covenant) in the government school system, Kabaka and Zagga also asked this question in Jamaica Wah Gwaan.
The double standard in our society showed its duty head during the campaigning by both the JLP and PNP, although the government had stipulated that all Jamaican and visitors are to observed social-distancing and the wearing of a mask, no of this was being done by both parties.
