Young Reggae Crooner Jahmiel Signs Management Deal with American Based Company
Kingston, Jamaica (MPR Consulting) - To say that 2014 thus far has been a whirlwind would be an understatement for rising star Jahmiel. The young artist career has undergone a makeover and breathed new life in the budding crooner.
Jahmiel recently parted ways with Young Vibez Productions (YVP), his label since 2009. The split was amicable and based solely on business decision. "Departing from YVP was very hard because I've been there for 5 years which made us not only business partners but friends and i value my friendships. On the other hand i saw where my career was stagnant for a longtime and i wanted to change that. As tessanne would say about music being her bread and butter, i share the same view" stated the rising star.
His career took on a new direction when in a chance meeting while in a recording session with famed producer Notnice, he captured the ear of Cyndi Davila (Notnice's manager) "I decided to work with Jahmiel because after watching him for a year at Notnice studio I saw how serious he was about his singing career , He is very diligent and consistent about going to studio and songwriting and his talent needs to be known around the world.".
Davila and her co manager Talisa then teamed up with entrepreneur Marlon Baugh of City Rock Entertainment to offer Jahmiel a management deal. "He reminds me of myself when I was younger, he is hungry, teachable and has the love and passion for what he is doing" said Marlon, while Talisa chimed saying "I originally met Jahmiel through my friend and business partner Davila, we learned Jahmiel's dreams and goals. We listened and knew then that we should be the ones to help Jahmiel in his journey to being legendary and great."
Its full speed ahead for Jahmiel, having just finished a photoshoot with famed director Chris Campbell from Icey Jace Film factory, he is splitting his time between the studio where he is putting the final touches on his upcoming EP slated to be released in April, filming a video for his upcoming single "United", a mixtape hosted by DJ Calico from Sun City radio, performing throughout the Island and promotional media.
Eager in his music to deliver quality, inspirational and even something for the ladies, Jahmiel wants the world to know that everything is "Ohkaay"
