Wonder Music to produce Ras Omeek, Bad Rass
Author Richard 'Bingy' Brown has launched a new record label called Wonder music and is operating out of St Mary.
The author says that the label is poised to produce some of reggae and dancehall music's greatest stars.
Wonder Music was formed last year and has been working with several up-and-coming recording artistes. The label is currently in the process of recording singles for artistes like Bad Rass and Ras Omeek.
"Wonder music is a new entertainment company ... I have always been a reggae music fan and was also a DJ in the '80s known as Bingy Wonder, in the UK I also maintained a musical presence as a promoter. Through that love for music I decided to start Wonder Music" Bingy said in a release.
The author-turned-record label operator says that Wonder Music will offer services such as music promotion, artiste management, public relations, artiste bookings, video production, social media marketing, music publishing, artiste development, sound engineering, event promotion, among other duties.
"Wonder Music utilises new models in music business and emphasises on in-house productions to bring new music and multimedia content to reggae music fans. Our mission is to bring authentic Jamaican music by incorporating new business platforms to reach music fans worldwide," Bingy stated.
Other artistes who are under the Wonder Music stable are Fyah Flamez, Missionary and Hercules. The label can be contacted via email at request@wondermusicgroup.com or bookings@wondermusicgroup.com. The label is also planning to embark on a spring tour of the UK this year.
