Two the hard way for Duane Stephenson!
Kingston Jamaica, January 27,2015 - It will be double trouble on a magnanimous scale as Reggae Crooner Duane Stephenson is set to unleash not one but two visual masterpieces on the international Reggae Television Market.
Two singles from his recently released ‘Dangerously Roots’ international charting Reggae album have received well conceptualized treatments and are currently in the final editing stages. The Singles; Good Good Love and Sorry Babylon, are the current tracks to receive promotional attention from Duane and his Management Label, Kong Star Records. These specific songs have been receiving rave reviews and corresponding positive sales on the international digital music market.
The love ballad ‘Good Good Love’, epitomizes a modern take on old time Dancehall space. “ I wanted to get a modern party vibe going for Good Good Love....it has that old time dancehall feel but we wanted to take it to 2015 and what people are into now without losing that romantic feel and good party/dancehall vibe” Duane Explained
Shot on Fort Clarence Beach in St Catherine, the ‘Good Good Love’ video itself sees Duane partying with friends on the beach and then gets caught up with one specific female patron.
Sorry Babylon is set as a full performance video, shot on location at the renowned Tuff Gong Studios in Kingston, Jamaica. Focus for these visuals are the powerful and reflective words themselves, while keeping the imagery quite simple yet full of authentic reggae vibrations.
Director Brian Roberts executed the Sorry Babylon video project and also worked on the Good Good Love project with fellow director Dameon Gayle. Good Good Love will be released at the end of January and Sorry Babylon soon after.
Duane is also gearing up for his performance at the Tempo Turns Ten Celebrations in Antigua and Barbuda on January 31 before heading to Little Rock Arkansas for the 8th annual Bob Marley Birthday Bash on February 7, and then returning to Jamaica for the Blue Mountain Music Festival on February 21. He is also gearing up for an extensive Canadian and US Tour beginning in March.
