Tugstar Ripping up Airwaves with Hit Single “Taxi”

Dancehall artiste TugStar has been ripping up the airwaves with his hit single “Taxi.”


The artiste who hails from the parish of Clarendon has been getting crazy feed back for this single both locally and internationally. The accompanying video has been doing extremely well also and has been featured on popular TV station Hype Tv.

“I have been getting lots of love from the DJs especially Rodrick Howell on Hitz92fm, he was the first to play it then a bunch of DJs start reach out to me for the song.

Hype TV, TVJ, and some international Radio stations, like RTC (Radio Turks and Caicos, Geneses Radio in London and some I cant remember the names of.”

Upcoming Project

Tugstar will be shooting the video for his upcoming single "Treat Your Woman Right" both Produced by SEGY P of Lane Mouth Production and Reef Ent Records in 2014, the latter to which he is currently signed.

“It’s a more intimate kind of video so the people will get to see how TugStar treat him Tugtress.” he said jokingly

The recording artiste is currently working with M.I.A. Production and is confident that this combination will give his career the boost that he has been looking for.

“I am happy to be working with M.I.A. Production because they know what they are doing and mi feel good say a dem a do my promotion.”

The Reef Entertainment artiste is indeed a true star who hones his craft with a special passion and desire to touch people through his music.

“My road manager Peter Walker call me the story teller cause most of my songs have a story in them whether from my life or my environment, so some times them more interesting than Soap Opera.” He said with a vibrant smile

He continues, “My fans can always look forward to hearing some fun, intriguing and interesting concepts, topics and stories.
