Toronto’s VIBE105 Premieres “Forever” by Natel
Kicking off the release of Natel’s “Forever”, Carrie Mullings premiered the new single on VIBE105 Midday Vibe. The show airs weekly, every Monday from 11am to 1pm after the Rebel Vibez show. Natel had the chance to talk with Carrie while on air for a quick chat about the single and his progress.
While Carrie was interviewing the artist, she expressed
“Natel since we started supporting your music here at the station, you keep hitting harder and harder which each new song. ”
After the interview she continued to say,
"We are all excited about your musical mission Natel because you consistently deliver hit songs"
“Forever” is Natel’s first released single for the New Year. The single is a cross-genre record, the rhythm blending reggae fundamentals with a pop-dancehall twist. His vocals add the final touch, giving this hot single an R&B Flavor. The single was release last week, and produced by Natel’s label, Natel Music.
This is not the first time that the artist has dabbled in production, the multifaceted artist has been known to dabble behind the scenes songwriting, composition and co-production for quite some time, as recently as helping produce and write Columbia Record artist, Samantha J’s hit single “Bad Like You”.
Speaking with Natel about the label, he mentions
“I created the label to show the world a different side of Natel, which they have heard before but didn’t know! I didn’t sign any artists as yet, but I will be working with artistes’ like Mr. Vegas, Amera, Samantha J and DeeWunn.”
The artistes’ revival has been a buzz in the Jamaica streets and the industry on a whole since early spring of last year. The release of “Only For You” garnished many features within media outlets such as the Jamaica Gleaner, Star and Observer. Over the Summer and the Christmas holidays, he voiced radio and T.V ad’s for high profiled companies such as Digicel, Smirnoff and NCB.
He came off of his European and U.S tour with Mr.Vegas at the end of Fall and has been busy in the studio ever since.
