Three Times The Charm for Soulful Artist K'Coneil
"No rest for the weary" was the motto for soulful recording artist K'Coneil this past Labor Day Weekend in New York. The "genre fluid" budding star delivered 3 electrifying performances to rave reviews.
The eventful days kicked off with K'Coneil taking the stage on Friday evening at NY's HOT 97FM annual "On Da Reggae/Soca Tip" at Governors island. K'Coneil took the stage alongside Grammy award-winning Shaggy, soca star Bunji Garlin and Kranium among other giants of the industry. Accompanied by his dancers, K'Coneil performed his hit singles "Hot Like You" and "Feel So Right" off his billboard charting "Love/Lust" EP.
The Festivities continued on Saturday night at Amazura in Queens, for NY's POWER 105FM DJ Norie's yearly and popular "Anything Goes" featuring such dancehall and reggae stars as Elephant Man, Tanto Metro and Devante, Wayne Wonder and more. With a full house of patrons, K'Coneil fed off the energy of the masses and amplified it by giving his all as he sang and showed off his dance moves to a delighted crowd.
To close out this memorable weekend, K'Coneil thrilled both new and existing fans at the 23rd Irie Jam Radio show at the Roy Wilkins Park in New York. Once again, the untiring artist and his dancers engaged concert goers with a medley of music bridging pop, dancehall and reggae, all embodying the essence of K'Coneil's hit filled debut EP.
"I was honored to be able to share in the festivities of the West Indian Carnival weekend celebrations. The ability to perform on stages hosted by and supported by three of New York's biggest media houses in Hot 97, Power 105, and Irie Jam Radio and their massive reach is more like a dream come true. The exhilarating feeling that I got from those performances are only matched by my desire to grow more and more as a performer. "
Continuing on his promotional trail, K'Coneil is headed to Jamaica on September 17th, and thereafter Canada. Keep up to date with promotional tour dates at www.KConeilMusic.com
