Third Time's the Charm as Reggae Star Nesbeth Gears Up for Rebel Salute 2015
Trodding on a righteous and positive musical journey, reggae Star Nesbeth is gearing up for his third appearance on the annual critically acclaimed Rebel Salute music festival in Jamaica. The spoken words star will take his place at Rebel Salute 2015 among some of the biggest names in reggae music such as Tarrus Riley, Tony Rebel, Capleton, Bugle, Etana and other reggae ambassadors.
Backed by a live band, this year performance will feature the hit singles from his recently released "Victory" EP. In explaining the difference with past year's performance, Nesbeth stated "I'm more excited than before, because of my many accomplishments throughout 2014. They're several reasons why this year will be different. Firstly I've garnered more awareness to my music through the recent launch of my Victory EP. Secondly I've been placing alot of emphasis on my vocal strength. Thirdly I've significantly improved on my stage craft. However, the most important difference is I am now functioning with a team that is more effective."
Rebel Salute delivers the greatest roots reggae show on earth. Starting out as a concert to celebrate the birthday of reggae icon Tony Rebel, Rebel Salute has evolved into so much more. Rebel Salute has captured the adoration of roots reggae lovers worldwide; magnetically pulling thousands of people to areas of Jamaica’s South Coast not traditionally famous for live music festivals. It serves a strict vegetarian menu complimented by a diet of cultural roots rap from Reggae’s finest. In tandem with this, is the concept of a drug-free, violence-free and non-alcoholic event. Combined with the warm hospitality and abundant culture of the Jamaican people, this event is not one to be missed.
Nesbeth will take the stage on day 1 of Rebel Salute on January, 16th 2015 at Grizzla's Plantation Cove in ST.Ann, Jamaica
