The Secret Is Out! Bramma "Nah Give Up"
by Lesley Hayles
(Kingston Jamaica)
Kingston, Jamaica - July 30th, 2018 In September 2017, Bramma released his One A Day EP to much fanfare. Seven tracks representing seven days of the week all with accompanying videos.
Over the course of 10 months, Bramma has managed to successfully release all but one video sequentially and the fans have been aching to see this day, Tuesday.
“Nah Give Up” is finally out, a best-kept secret to a strategic move by Bramma and his management team at S-Lock Entertainment. The label wanted the anticipation to build as the track is a favorite of most from the EP.
“The people dem been asking for the video long time but me did have to keep dem waiting until di time did right,” says Bramma.
The time is now. Bramma is ecstatic for the release of “Nah Give Up” as now, more than ever before, he knows what some haters have been saying about him.
“Dem say me no good. Dem fight me out regular in the business. Dem think say me done with music but dem wrong. I’m still here and I ain’t going nowhere!” exclaimed a smiling Bramma.
Produced by his label, S-Lock Records, “Nah Give Up” is exactly what the title says. Bramma is never giving up despite the struggles of the music business, which attack him in many shapes and forms.
He confidently states this in the track and lives by his words daily. Bramma believes in his music, in his team and most importantly, his fans, and adamantly proclaims that he will never let any of them down by giving up or giving in to his obstacles.
Bramma brilliantly captures this notion in this video, directed by Icey Jace Film Factory in his hometown of Duhaney Park, with a few scenic shots from his new residence in Plantation Heights. They transition smoothly from the streets of Sherlock Crescent to the studios of S-Lock to the majestic views of Kingston right from his balcony.
There are no lavish lifestyles being displayed, no scantily clad females gesticulating on screen, no violent or sexual acts promoted in this video. Just simple, clean and meaningful pictures of Bramma with profound lyrics to bring the point across.
Bramma is more focused than ever and will be promoting the video with much vigor on all TV stations including the Caribbean’s leading networks. The video will first be premiered on his YouTube channel on Tuesday, July 31st and then to other vloggers, websites and programs.
