Taking it to RDXtreme for December
HIGH Energy Duo RDX took it to the limit this December with their sophomore performance aboard the Boom Energy Drink Annual Road Show.
With ten stops spanning the entire island, the Boom Energy Drink Unsung Beats Road Show kick started on December 4 in Montego Bay St James and continued through to December 22 in Port Maria St Mary. The tour culminated on December 24 with a grand finale event inside Linstead Skateland St Catherine.
For RDX and their team the Road Works Agency (RWA), being a part of the Road Show was a 'no brainer' as it gave them the prime opportunity to do what they wanted to do this month; get up close and personal with their Jamaican supporters.
“We did this tour primarily to allow our local audience to get an intimate view of their favourite Dancehall duo. We do extensive traveling bringing our music to the global door step, so it’s only fitting that our own people can enjoy our energy too, they are who made us the stars we are.” Renigade of RDX noted
“It’s been great all through. And the reception has been exceptional. It’s overwhelming to see the love we are getting from our local fans. From kids to elderly, that inspires us to go even harder for 2015.” Delomar of RDX added
Enjoying the opportunity to interact directly with their Jamaican fans is also a huge benefit for the duo; who noted two elderly women joining them on stage on the Spanish Town leg of the tour as a major highlight for the rulers of the coveted dancehall ‘girls tune segment’.
RDX also recently completed a series of performances for the RIU Hotel Chain in Negril and Montego Bay and will be performing next on the GT Taylor’s Reggae Christmas Extravaganza in St Elizabeth on December 25. 2015 will see the duo distributing their ‘Loud’ single in Jamaica as well; already a massive hit in Europe with heavy rotation on BBC 1 Xtra and Capital One Radio, the Orange Hill produced Electro banger is another step for RDX towards becoming rulers of Dancehall EDM globally
