Starface preaches ‘Focus’ on what’s important in new song on Life To Live Riddim
An emerging force in the Jamaican music industry, multifaceted dancehall diva and Konsequence Music Group recording artiste, Starface details her ‘Focus’ on the things she hopes to achieve for herself and her family in the new single on the newly-released compilation, the Life To Live Riddim.
Focus details a story of one’s determination to persevere in life; motivated by struggles faced in everyday life. Starface details the hungry days she and her mother experienced while younger, insisting that she ‘hustle hard cause mi want it, cyaah miss when we a aim for the target’ as she aims to get ‘rich before Mommy get old’ and envisions walking down red carpets.
With smooth vocals and a passionate tone, Focus is a song many people looking for a boost in their lives and/or careers can fully relate to. It embodies the value of hard work and dedication in or to make it in the music industry or any form of work that requires tireless demands.
Since its release in April 2016, Focus has racked up just under 6,000 views on the video-sharing hub, YouTube and largely positive feedback across all major social media platforms.
The Life To Live Riddim features two other Konsequence Music Group acts: Tuff Krakaz with Satisfy and Ice Cold with Life to Live. The compilation also features acclaimed acts such as Jahmiel, I-Octane, Gyptian, Jahvinci, four-time Juno winner, Exco Levi and many more and has been getting strong feedback on social media, as well as rotation on radio in Canada and Jamaica.
Starface recently performed in Bradfard and Birningham, U.K.
