Squash and His 6ixx Team Losing Their Grip On Dancehall Music?
Article written by Kenroy
Breakout dancehall artiste Squash who is also the leader of the 6ixx Is Real Team is slowly losing the grip he had on dancehall music since 2018.
Since the summer of 2018, the six-team which consists of Squash, Chronic Law, Bobby6 and Daddy1 was leading the team music team until he started a lyrical feud with Alkaline.
The lyrical beef lasted for a little over two months, Squash management came out saying that their artiste Squash had waved the white flag.
Since then it seems Squash and His 6ixx Team Losing Their Grip On Dancehall Music. In October of 2019, Squash released a track titled "Intel" produced by 6ixReal Records and to my surprise some fans of the artist are now saying that he needs to stop doing these violence laced songs.
Squash started gaining recognition in 2018 after his single "Oh la la" became a street anthem. From then almost all of his songs have been about murder, Guns and Hennessy.
Scrolling thru the comments under his track "Intel" here is what some of his fans are saying:
"Enough of this now. Want to see you go billboard now. Dwiit mi know yuh can 6ixboss"
"Squash yuh a sell computer processor nw? Nuh more badman song 4m 🏳🏳🏳🏳🏳🏳🏳🏳🏳 waiver"
"Wah yuh seh yuh rest yuh gun pan dem temple yaa gi dem one a weh alka gi yuh🤣🤔"
"Everday yuh sing bout man bredda the gyol exist enuh kmt"
But there were some fans who really like the road the 6ixx is travelling down.
"So the police them no have no problem with this? A only when u call alkaline name them have problem? Lol"
"#6ix we out here,, this one yah fresh like 'Irish spring soap'...Wiled & devolous same way!!!!..."
So do you think the reason why Squash and His 6ixx Team Losing Their Grip On Dancehall Music is because of the violence in their music? You can post your views by clicking on the comments link below.
