Sky Don Sings of “Times Like This”


Sky Don’s quest for stardom presses on with the release of his new single, “Times Like This.” The newcomer has been shifting waves on the underground circuit with his formidable take on music and shows no signs of slowing down.


The track can be easily described as a social outcry about the many atrocities that have been plaguing our society; he however takes solace in his faith and pleads to the Lord to guide him and protect him through it all.

Sky Don Says, “Times Like This" is a prayer, it is a reminder to everyone, that in everything we do no, matter what, just always have faith and put God first and ask for his guidance in times like this. You could say life inspired me to pen this track because it gets more serious day by day. ”

Released in late August, “Times Like This” was produced by Tripledose Production. The song is made available for purchase via Johnny Wonder on various digital platforms to include Amazon, iTunes and Spotify.

So far the single has been receiving repeated rotations on local radio and has become a favourite at many street events.
“The love that I have been receiving has been great! I have been getting steady rotation at a few radio stations and local events. Many people like the song because they can identify with it and they love the message.”
Plans are already on the way for a video that will be ready for the beginning of the new year.
“Most of the video has been shot already, only a few more scenes for it to be completed, but I am just looking forward to see the end results,” Expressed SkyDon

The St. Ann native is aiming to build a solid foundation in music with this latest release and of course will continue to supply the demand for good music with his unique sound and potent lyrics.

So what’s next for Sky Don you might ask, well, he is looking to drop a new track titled “My Girl.”
