Simple Youth Production Eyes Hit With Gage “World Is Mine”
After spending the past few years establishing and building their production label in the Dancehall fraternity, Jamaica Born Producer Michael ‘Shadow’ Millwood & Dwayne Ogilvie has now gain some traction with “World Is mine” by Dancehall artiste Gage.
The single which was done on their Simple Youth Production imprint became available for sale on all major digital streaming sites on July 28, 2017 through Zojak Worldwide.
Though it is still early, the project appears to be off to a good start and the song is already getting a lot of street credits and air play which the fans love.
“As a music producer I am always looking for talented and up-coming acts and I believe that this project will be a successful one for this year with the help of my partners and fellow producers Karim Kareem Muzik Wilkie and Miguel Tweedy Cooper who all hail from East St. Thomas. This track definitely shows the versatility of Gage with his lyrics and will get you hook to his chorus in no time” Said Shadow.
“Currently, I am doing the ground work on Gage’s track to help it cross over into the French market in coming months. Gage has always been one of those artistes who brings something different to the table each time he records a song and this single has a lot of potential” He continued.
With the momentum the single has been picking up, Shadow explains that there is a video in the works.
The “Lyrical Session” rhythm compilation also hosts acts like Ash, D Element, Cushites, Krome Steel, One Pong & Whyte Nyke.
Among Shadow’s other productions are: the “HighWay” Rhythm, the “Sweet Like Honey” Rhythm, “Party Up” by Nana and “Barcelona” by Bralcade which all made an impact both locally and internationally.
