Dancehall newcomer, Shenseea’s path towards seemingly overnight stardom began at the beginning of 2016, when she recorded her debut single “Jiggle Jiggle” that shot through the island of Jamaica like a strike from lightning.
As though this wasn’t enough for a new artist, opportunities lent itself to her again when she was approached to work with Vybz Kartel on a track titled “Loodi”. Upon the release of the “Loodi” music video, the track quickly went viral, reaching over 7.6 million views in 12 weeks. The track also took hold of the airwaves like wildfire adding to what is now an impressive repertoire of music for this young artiste.
Garnering attention from Teen Vybe Magazine, Shenseea was ranked twice on their Top 10 Chart for both songs; #2 – Shenseea ft. Vybz Kartel – Loodi and #4 – Shenseea – Jiggle Jiggle with artists like Vybz Kartel, Alkaline, Ding Dong and Chris Martin just proving just how exceptional of an artist she is and will prove to be for years to come. As of late February 2017, “Loodi” is climbing up Spotify France’s Top 50 Viral chart alongside artists such as Future, Ed Sheeran, Lana Del Rey and more.
