Sgt. Remo - I'm Free (Official Video) Out Now!
“I’m Free” is the lead single from Sgt Remo’s forthcoming album, Give Thanks for Life (Autumn 2014, Jah Yutes Entertainment).
“I’m Free” is a song about mental liberation and shedding the preconceived notions that often divides us as people, with Remo voicing the sentiment “Every man born free from bondage, every man born free from violence. Everyone wants to live their life well, so teach them good and don’t bad mind them.”
The song was produced by Chilean DnL Producciones. The video was filmed in Austin, TX by Grassy Rootz TV. Sgt Remo has had a busy 2014 recently performing in Japan, Mexico City, and touring the U.S. during the month of June.

Sgt Remo, an unlikely reggae artist, is a Mexican born reggae vocalist who resides in the U.S. During the last few years he has progressively achieved an emergent spot in reggae with his own take on roots reggae. He proudly represents, not only his native Mexico but, all the underprivileged people across the world who find comfort in the uplifting message of reggae music.
In a recent interview he states “I’ve realized the impact of music on our culture and how powerful of a tool it can be. It is not only our entertainment, but also our means of teaching and sharing ideas. I don’t think there is a better way of addressing the many issues that we deal with in our communities.”
