"SEAL'D IN VAIN", a new EP out
Seal'd in Vain is available now in stores, the first EP
by the homonymous band published by Redgoldgreen Label.
A work entirely recorded in Rome at the Studio 24 Gradi using only vintage instruments, from the original guitars of the '50s until the Hammond organ and Wurlitzer electric piano.
Anticipated by the video Passo al Passo, the EP faces human feelings but also political and social issues as already demonstrated in the first single Too Many Rivers dedicated to the current issues concerning Africa and the Middle East.
The typically reggae-roots sound of these tracks joins the "rock/country" contamination in the ballad as Smile and L'Oro up to reach a "dub & roll" style as in the cover version of Heart Full of Soul, song of the legendary british '60s band: The Yardbirds.
The EP ends with a dub version of Too Many Rivers made by the talented dub master Marco Ippoliti, aka Shaman Monkey, member of the Roaring Bass sound system.
