RR, Sizzla share intimacy in new video 'Dat Yuh Wah'

Reggae/dancehall/pop singer RR has released the visual for her single 'Dat Yuh Wah', which features reggae icon Sizzla Kalonji.

The video was recently launched to a packed house at Fiction Nightclub and was supported by several members of the music industry.

The video captures Sizzla revealing his more intimate and affectionate side, while RR, who is also a professional dancer, impresses viewers with her acrobatic dance moves.

"For RR your are going to see a lot of dancing in my videos because my roots are grounded in dancing. Because it's Sizzla we want for a more African vibes and it worked a lot for the video. The song is on iTunes and I hope the video will bring more traction to the song," RR told The weekend Star.

The video was directed by RD Studios and filmed at Serendipity in Blue Mountain. The singer also credited Kameka Reid as being the stylist responsible for what she wore in the video.

"It was awesome working with Sizzla, he is a superinternational superstar and people can look out for a lot more from Sizzla and RR together," she said.

This video release is the second for RR, following the release of Crazy In Love which later featured Mavado. The singer is looking to release her debut EP Regal Receipt and also hinted that she might make a cameo appearance, with an international act at Reggae Sumfest 2015.

The video will be aired on local television starting this week, and has been uploaded on YouTube. The singer also revealed that her management is in talks with international television network MTV, so as to expose the product to a wider audience.

"I think this is one of the best videos in Jamaica, it's and awesome production. Please check it out on my Vevo channel RRVEVO," she said.
