She will share the stage with reggae superstars such as Beres Hammond, Tarrus Riley, Flo Rida and Barrington Levy.
"This is the third time I am doing international night, I am looking forward, it's all about the delivery, and I will represent roots reggae to the fullest, and I have a few surprises for the crowd. there is going to be a difference," Sophia Squire said.
Sophia Squire has been generating a big buzz with her single, Some Day, which is produced by Swedish producer Frederick Mikaelsson. It signalledSophiaSquire's emergence as one of the fresh new voices of reggae.
The video has over 129,000 hits on YouTube over the past month. In the past few months,Squirehas become a bit of a social media sensation as Love Caan Pay The Bills, featuring Rich Ras for the Tremor Modernise, generated heated debate between males and females on the social networks of Facebook and Twitter.
"I heard that Some Day got a big forward at the after party forthe Summer Jam festival in Germany. Safari Sound with DJ Shirkhan played both reggae and dancehall songs, and it was during this segment that the song Some Day was played and created a major buzz. He had to pull it up for the huge crowd, and this is a great look for me and for reggae music overall," Sophia Squire said.
Squire's management team is organising a series of dates in Europe for later this year.
"We have a number of requests for shows, but we are seeking to organise them so we can do a bona fide tour of Europe," she said.
