Reggae Singer Jah Cure does 'All of Me' cover
Reggae singer Jah Cure has recorded a cover of John Legend's 'All of Me', which will be released to Jamaican radio this week.
"I have always been a big fan of John Legend, and this is one of those songs that come around once in every generation, it just caught my ears. I went to sleep singing it and woke up singing it, so I was at a rehearsal and I suggested it, and we started to play the chords and it worked. it's a fantastic cover, which I think the fans will enjoy," Jah Cure said.
R&B superstar John Legend sat down at the piano and performed a touching rendition of the song, dedicated to his wife, Chrissy Teigen, at the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles Sunday night.
When Jah Cure played his version of All of Me for his manager, Scikron Entertainment/Big Yard CEO Robert Livingston, he gave it the thumbs up.
"He said he loved how I put the Jah Cure stamp on it, so we will be releasing it as our next single. we're aiming for a Valentine's Day release, exclusively for the ladies", he said.
Jah Cure released a new video for his latest single, Wake Up, this week.
"The video is doing very well on various social-media platforms, hitting 13,000 views in one day. by the end of the week, we will be approaching 100,000 views, at this rate," he said.
The singer delivered a string of impressive performances at Rebel Salute, and the charity show, Shaggy and Friends.
He was particularly good at Rebel Salute, where he drew screams of approval and salutes from the audience as he belted out hits such as Unconditional Love and Love Is.
