Reggae Singer Dann-I Wraps Tour & Working On International Collaboration
Coming on the heels of a recent performance at the Spanish Town Adult Correctional facility as part of their rehabilitation programme to mentor and steer inmates away from criminal recidivism, eclectic Reggae singer Dann-I says he's very pleased to have been a part of the project.
The Rastafarian crooner currently promoting the singles 'Thinking Out Loud' and 'Put Another Reggae On Top' recently wrapped the final leg of his summer school tour. Hosted by Hype TV in collaboration with its corporate partners the 'Count Off 2015 School Tour' made its final stop at the Claude McKay High School in Clarendon where Dann-I gave a good account of himself delivering fan favourites such as 'Time Nuh Wait' and 'Honey Lips' to an appreciative audience.
"The school tour was a great experience because I got an opportunity to reconnect with some of my younger fans and also those that were not familiar with my brand of music. This is all a part of building the brand one step at a time."
Prior to the finale other institutions visited included Jose Marti Technical High, Tacius Golding High, Ginger Ride Primary and McGrath High School.
With the culmination of the local tour Dann-I is back in the studio working on a number of recordings including a collaborative project with a internationally renowned label. When quizzed the Spanish Town native says he was unable to elaborate on the project due to certain contractual obligations but promised all will be revealed in due course.
Alluding to the international project the benevolent singer said, "I can't say much about that presently but just know it's something major and when the time is right all will be revealed."
