Reggae Rocker Omari Banks Unveils Artwork and Title of Upcoming Album
The Valley, Anguilla (MPR Consulting) - As the new year brings new beginning, soulful reggae rocker Omari Banks has unveiled the Artwork and Title of his much anticipated upcoming spring 2017 album "SUNLIGHT".
Speaking on the creative idea behind the cover, Omari explained "The Album Cover idea , I wanted to really to capture the idea of sunlight feeding my thoughts while playing my guitar and composing. I believe that darkness and light is a great analogy that symbolizes our journey through life. I wanted to capture and depict a sense of connection to all things around us."
In the latter part of 2016, Omari displayed his song-writing versatility by delivering two hit singles that will be featured on said album, "System Set" featuring reggae star Duane Stephenson which spoke of socially charged issues, and "Naturally" that told a tale as old as time "Love".
In between his various worldwide travels and performances, Omari has tirelessly been at work in studio coasting from the Caribbean to the States working alongside veterans and notables producers putting the finishing touches on "SUNLIGHT". " So far I have 8 songs completed and I'm looking to have another 4-5 more tracks ready for the release date in early April. So in total roughly about 14 songs with a few bonus tracks and acoustic remixes." stated the reggae rocker.
Following in the footsteps of Omari's hit filled "Move On, the Deluxe Edition" album, "SUNLIGHT" will convey music with thoughts. Each song hopes to evoke feelings while touching a familiar string, a recognizable experience.
"This album is positively charged and fused with melody and vibe which i hope will inspire, enlighten and encourage the awakening of love throughout the world" - Omari Banks
