Reggae Performing Artist David Conscious is Africa Bound
David Conscious reggae rising star out of Jamaica is heading on a Western Ghana Tour March 8th-16 on the heals of opening for Bushman in his hometown of Ocho Rios in January of this year.
"My dream of one day going to Africa is actually happening and I'm going there to sing Reggae Music. I will be traveling to Africa; Ghana during Reggae Month when Bob Marley One Love is reviving and highlighting the true meaning of Reggae Music which is a unification of the human race through music.
Reggae Music has always been the message of One Love and Peace, and as Bob Marley said the messenger is the message, and that is why I write songs about peace, love and hope.
We as entertainers have a duty and a responsibility to the people of the world especially the youths. Reggae Music and Rastafari is here to lead the way, only Rastafari can liberate the people and my goal is to spread the message far and wide."
David or Conscious as he is called by many is about to release his latest track "Mighty Men" under his Conscious Heights and label just days before he leaves for Ghana and he hopes that this track will be as well received as his last track "Waking Up".
David says is inspiration comes from his love for mankind and his dream of seeing everyone living in harmony and suffering a thing of the past. He sees himself as a prophetic Songwriter because many times he has to look to the words of his own songs for guidance and to look within himself; Jah use him as a messenger but he is still a work in progress and his goal is to not only be a messenger but to one day be the message in the words of the great Robert Nesta Marley.
