RDX reveals 'Bad Vibes' from Artistes
RDX recently premiered a brand new track for Cash Flow Records called ‘Linky’ on the ‘Sounds of the Heart’ riddim. The production house has released hit material for the duo previously, including ‘Kotch’, ‘Drop’ & recently ‘Turn It Around’.
This project is slower than most beats that RDX is famous for, they however felt it gave them more room to add a strong & clear message.
When asked about the motivation behind the track, Renigade and Delomar had interesting words to share about their friendships in the industry.
“Experience teaches wisdom. So without the experience the ‘Linky’ song wouldn't be real.” Delomar Explained “People like Gary Chucks, Bermuda Kid and too many dancers to mention who we helped out, switch and betray we, those were the weakest links. But we not upset about it at all, only inspired.”
This inspiration helped script the words to the new ‘Friends Anthem’ Single ‘Linky’ as friendships are important to RDX and they believe it is a strong contributor to their success.
“For us, it builds the chemistry within the music we put out. Unity is strength. Its important to have real friends in the game like we do, we help each other grow.” Delomar mentioned
This doesn’t mean that the two always get along though.
“We are like family, so we get on each other’s last nerves sometimes and argue, But never to the point of disrespect.” Renigade interjected
“We enjoy a really good friendship with most artistes. But people like Elephant
Man, Charlie Blacks & Daseca yute dem straight up don’t don’t deal with us and say negative things about us, even though we never have a negative encounter with them, so we have a nice ‘nuh like each other’ contract going.” Renigade added
RDX believes The Linky single is real and relatable. Everyone has a real friend or linky and most persons have come in contact with the fake ones too. In addition, Renigade and Delomar see themselves as an example of true friends who work together, real ‘Loyal Soldiers’.
The Video for Linky was also shot recently by Directors Xtreme Arts in the Waterhouse Community where the RDX movement begun. It showcases the fact that you must not burn your bridges behind you. This is evidence that the success of RDX is not only down to Renigade & Delomar, but extends to an entire community.
RDX sees this track as one of those special songs that can be played anytime of day which is not usually the case with other RDX material.
“Your grandma can sing it on a Sunday right after church.” Delomar offered
“Any age and any wage kinda tune” Renigade added
Fans can expect to see the official music video for ‘Linky’ within a few weeks. The Duo is also set to premiere visuals for their VSOP single as they prepare for their May 2015 ‘VSOP European Tour’.
