(February 6th, 2014) - While “Sexy Touch” still tantalizes our eyes and rings in our ears, givingRDX fans a surprising launch to the productive New Year, the lively duo continues to carve new steps into their commanding musical quest while showcasing their talented diversity. Ladies . . . can you HEAD TOP?
Armed with a hot new track that’s spawning hashtags, photo/video submissions, and contest at local area parties, RDX while simultaneously introducing artist Road Elf, calls for revitalization in the skilled art of the “Head Top”. That’s not to say “head topping” has gone anywhere, but with the rise of “free for all” trends, RDX manages to create an opportunity to showcase new talent while supporting a healthy creativity to which Dancehall culture thrives on.
While every girl can whine, not every girl can “head top”. The dance itself requires one to balance on their head, a feat not easily reached by many. Once a dancer has achieved the skill, one must highlight her own artistry by incorporating signature moves into the general “head top” dance. From Jamaica to the streets of Russia, this unique bauble of Dancehall has peaked fascination for years.
