RDX FOLLOWS THEIR MUSIC TO THE INDIAN OCEAN
RDX has made a conscious effort to remain in the island for the month of December to spend this festive season with their Jamaican fans and followers. Especially with new material including ‘Mr VSOP’ and Drink Symphony’ steadily making waves in the party circuit, Renigade of RDX thought it the best opportunity for the duo to spend some quality time with island fans.
“We are rarely in Jamaica for Christmas and the entire month of December by extension, so we decided to limit our performances to mostly local events this December. Our Jamaican Fans can look forward to seeing much more of us in the coming weeks all over the island” Renigade explained
“We enjoy partying all over the world and experiencing different cultures but Jamaican partying is different and it inspires the music of RDX” Delomar Added
With Tours of Canada, The Us and two tours of the UK; toppled with shows in the Caribbean and regions rarely travelled by Jamaican acts taking up majority of their artiste engagements in 2014, RDX is now ready to close the year in true Jamaican party form right here at home.
The Duo recently returned from three engagements in Mauritius and Reunion islands as well asthe Czeck Republic in Europe alongside Anthony B. These events were extremely important to the duo as they are only the second Dancehall artistes to perform
in the majorly Indian populated Island of Mauritius in the Indian Ocean.
Their performance in the French Speaking Reunion Islands was also special to the Duo as it took place at a club in the hills opposite one of Reunion's 3 active volcanos. Their performance at the Lucerna Club marked RDX's second time performing in the Czech Republic, the first happening at Hip Hop Kemp over two years ago.
RDX’s DJ and Producer Blaqk Sheep was also impressed with the reach of the Duo’s music globally "This was nothing normal, it’s closer to fly to Jamaica from Europe than it is from these islands. So to see the reach of RDX's music, knowing how much work the man them put in, is a joy. Personally, I am proud to be a part of something so exciting & progressive." Blaqk Sheep expressed.
Upcoming local performances for the Duo include ‘Drip’ in St Thomas on November 29 and ‘GT Taylor Extravaganza’ on December 25. RDX also recently released Videos for their Girls Anthem ‘Bum’ and thought provoking single ‘Hell’ on their RDX Vevo Channel on Youtube.
They are looking forward to releasing many more videos to start 2015, including visuals for newer releases ‘Mr VSOP’ and ‘Drink Symphony’. RDX is also looking forward to the release of their Soul Poetry Reggae Album in early 2015.
