Razor B Wants You to 'Sleep Over'
February 5, 2014 - Kingston, Jamaica Rising international Recording Artist and Dancehall sensation, Razor B, has released a new track called “Sleep Over”, which has already become popular amongst his female fans.
The track was mixed by Zip FM’s own ZJ Rush, therefore, it has gotten some rotation on the station’s playlist. DJ Kitt of 007 Sound has been playing it at all the hot party spots in Kingston, Jamaica, especially during Mojito Mondays held at Suzie’s Bakery, which has seen an immense feedback so far, countless “forwards’ and expensive “money pull-ups”.
In it, Razor B is heard at the beginning of the track, calling a girl and asking her to “Sleep Over” and spend the night with him. It’s a clean track but the lyrics are skillfully raunchy without being obscene. Razor B is evidently artistic in his lyrical composure and crafty in his writing abilities while the beat helps bring it all together.
Known for his list of girl tunes, his sexy image and intense performances, Razor B is a sure success with female listeners. “Sleep Over” is just another proof that Razor B has what it takes to grab the attention of any Dancehall fan as well as to crossover to an international listenership. The video is set to begin shooting soon and casting has begun. His label, OG Entertainment, is seeking a sexy, dark-skinned female to fill the leading role.
Razor B is based in Toronto, Canada but has performed on multiple shows in Jamaica, including Reggae Salute, recently held in St. Elizabeth where he shared the stage with Luciano, Laden, Ninja Man and many more high caliber artists. He has chart-topping songs such as “We Party” and his most recent release prior to “Sleep Over” was “Whine & Stop” under his belt, which both saw great success. Razor B hopes to see the same or an even greater response to “Sleep Over”.
Team Razor B has also joined forces with PR Agent Lesley Hayles of LesleyOdyssey Entertainment Services, in an effort to amp up the artist’s publicity and exposure to more worldwide fans and promoters. Fans can join the movement and follow #TeamRazorB @RazorBHome @TeamRazorB @ranjinicassup @tonysigar and @LesleyOdyssey on Twitter. Razor B was also named “Artist of the Week” on MDTV during the week of January 29th, 2014.
