Clad in an all-white ensemble the purple-hair deejay kicked off his performance in the wee hours of Sunday morning with the popular ladies anthem ‘Blah Daff’, and within minutes had a female on stage joining in the festivities as she demonstrated the new dance craze created by Sher Rumbaar and Shelly Belly. Singing several of his current chart bubblers Raytid quickly wrapped a concise set with the hit single ‘Forward’ before introducing fellow stable-mate Demarco to the stage.
Coming on the heels of his exciting performance, Raytid was also the recipient of more good news on Monday afternoon as he’s featured in the June edition of ‘Birdie Magazine’, page 9 with an article titled ‘Raytid Blazes Charts with Blah Daff’. The U.S publication based in Washington D.C. and Maryland encapsulates the urban entertainment landscape of North American intertwined with the hottest acts and happening out of the Caribbean.
Reacting to the news, Raytid said he very pleased with the feature as it marks another milestone in his burgeoning career, “I am very happy with the current state of my career, right now this magazine feature is a great look and will definitely help in exposing my talent to new fans and potential new markets.”
With the official video and audio for Blah Daff amassing a combined 70,000+ views on VEVO in only three weeks, Raytid says he will be intensifying his promotional campaign heading into summer with increased street presence.
The deejay has also released two new singles, ‘You A Mi Baby’ on the Playback rhythm for Frankie Music and ‘Wuk Wuk’ produced by Jay Crazie Records on the Blahdaff Nation rhythm.
