Singer Raine Seville is very upbeat about her two recently released songs, which feature self-proclaimed 'king of dancehall', Beenie Man.
The songs, Khaki and You Choose, produced by ZJ Ice and Truckback Records, respectively, have so far garnered attention from the general public and radio stations locally and internationally.
"The songs are getting heavy rotation as we speak. I am very upbeat about the situation as I have been getting plenty of positive feedbacks, so far, about them," Raine said.
fruitful stintThe beautiful songbird, christened Loraine Seville, continues to enjoy a fruitful stint in music, which began more than a year ago after the release of Cheating Games, done with dancehall star Mavado on Payday Music's 'Real Reggae' rhythm.
She followed up with her ZJ Liquid-produced mix tape, Talk Is Cheap and the highly controversial yet successful Skekkle Dung, which she recorded with Konshens for Dre Day Productions.
Other highlights were Seville's impressive performances at last year's Reggae Sumfest International Night Two and Independence Gala festival.
Her efforts have not gone unnoticed as she was nominated by South Florida and the Music Industry Awards for Best female Artiste.
Voicing predominantly at Truckback Records, the Wolmerian believes she is at the right place, honing her musical talents, referring to the two songs as value to her claim.
"You experience lots of positives being around Truckback Records. They are people with an immense love and an unending knowledge of music, and that can only be counted as a plus for me as an artiste honing my skills. You can see from the reaction that the songs are getting that I am at the right place now," she said.
