Producer TuchPoint Prepares For Major Release...Clarendon Riddim
American producer TuchPoint is gearing up to release his much anticipated riddim called the Clarendon Riddim. This he will be doing with the help of some Jamaican heavy-hitters.
Not wanting to let the cat out of the bag when it comes to details of who is on this project, TuchPoint says that, "Clarendon Riddim is an up tempo dancehall riddim that will keep the listeners moving' and groovin'..."
TuchPoint Music has been involved with numerous music productions over the years ranging from hip-hop, to R&B, alternative, and of course reggae and dancehall. He is very upbeat about this new project and promises that this one is definitely going to be a hit.
The riddim features some known names as well as some upcoming names in the business.
When quizzed about the name choice, TuchPoint responded by saying “Besides being the birthplace of some of reggae music's biggest icon like, Freddie McGregor, Toots Hibbert (of Toots & Maytals), and Super Cat, I named this riddim Clarendon Riddim because that was one of the first parishes I visited when I first came to Jamaica. With the breath taking views, lovely people, and nice vibes, Clarendon seemed like the perfect name for my first riddim release.”
He added, “I wish the entire world could experience a fun filled week in Clarendon. Since the world can't come to Clarendon, I'm going to bring Clarendon to the world with a riddim that inspires movement, creativity, and good vibes; I can't wait for people to hear Clarendon Riddim."
While on the island of Jamaica, TuchPoint always makes sure to make his rounds to various studios; whether it's going by Buju's studio to hail up his son Markus of Markus Records, or working with Grammy Award winning producer PayDay on a production in his Kingston studio.
TuchPoint says, "When it comes to this music ting, I believe that it's important to continuously make links and keep the links LIVE." He continues by saying, "I keep in contact with promoters, producers, and Dj links from all over the globe because it is very important to stay connected."
In addition, he urges everyone to look out for more good work from TuchPointMusic. “Music is my first passion, so I am always in the studio constantly working. Look out for the Clarendon riddim and look out for many more to come.” he said with a contagious smile You can email TuchPoint at TuchPoint@gmail.com or follow on Twitter and Instagram @TuchPointMusic
