Omari Banks Launches "Ashe Sundays" Live Concerts Series in Anguilla
Anguilla, West Indies (MPR Consulting) - Reggae reggae artist Omari Banks is closing out the year with a new endeavor aiming to cultivate live music. Set across the luxurious backdrop scenery of Davidas in Crocus Bay, Anguilla Omari introduces "Ashe-Sunday".
"From a tender age I've been blessed with opportunities to perform on stage, be it Talent shows, Moonsplash, or the numerous venues I've gigged around Anguilla over the past 5 years. Being the son of a Musical Artiste (Bankie Banx) I've always watched and admired how my Dad's persona would take shape as he got onto stage, a skill he developed with time and thought. I believe in the power of Art and the Artiste. I believe Artists are most powerful live onstage. It is with this in mind that i am introducing "Ashe-Sundays" at Davidas. My desire is to give artists from #Anguilla and neighboring Islands the opportunity to perform alongside myself, and showcase their #Talent. Music should be taken seriously and putting on a show takes preparation, practice makes perfect! Come out as we close the year out with a New Beginning, Ashe-Sunday Concerts". explained Omari.
The weekly series kicks off Sunday, December 27th with St Thomas born, Anguilla raised the beautiful and multi-talented Natalie. The neo soul/r&b songbird will perform her single perfect, while Omari performs hit music from his "Move On" Album recently listed #4 on the top ten reggae albums of 2015 in the latest issue of popular prestigious German Riddim Magazine
