Nigma shoots 'Mineral Boss' video
St Catherine-based label Mineral Boss Records (MBR) has signed singer and deejay Nigma.
Nigma recently completed the video shoot for his new single Mineral Boss. The track was produced by Matthew 'Esco' Thompson for Starstruck Records. The single also features an appearance from MBR boss, Cleon 'Corey' Jones. This was Jones' first time featured on a recording.
"The video shoot was a success and it is set to premiere in mid- July. The single is going to be distributed by 21st Hapilos Digital Distribution and it is already creating a buzz in the streets and on the airwaves," said Jones.
Nigma - a 25-year-old entertainer, whose real name is Kemar Watson, is from Spanish Town - is already generating attention from several music producers who have enlisted him for several music related projects.
"Right now he's doing some work with producers like Ninja Kid, Esco and friends for Real Entertainment. He is also featured on the 'Money Boss' riddim that we are putting out on MBR later this year. The feedback on Nigma has been incredible so far," Jones explained.
Nigma, who is quite upbeat about the developments in his career, is looking forward to a progressive summer.
"Definitely something to talk about. So look out for Nigma puzzle man a puzzle dem MBR," he said, adding that his visibility will increase with more promotion.
