Nesbeth’s Entertainment Soul Releases New Video Hundu Lay Lay
Nesbeth’s International Recording Label Entertainment Soul has released his newest video Hundu Lay Lay where he cries for the youth. Benjamin Lidsky and Dameon Gayle directed the video. Hundu Lay Lay is a word that Nesbeth discovered to represent as a clarion call to the people. This is the second single of his Victory EP, which was released November 17th by Zojak Worldwide at a launch at the Jamaica Pegasus.
“I am asking the people to find direction so that we can make this world a better place,” explains Nesbeth. The essence of the video is captured in a collage of different historical leaders spanning different time periods. The lighting and camera angles suggest a time of urgency and need for immediate awakening. The focus of the drum is reminiscent of the Ancient African Nyahbinghi drumming that was a voice when the people were voiceless.
Lidsky is a young creative director from the Alps along the border of France and Switzerland. He has worked with greats like Beenie Man, Yasmin Levy, Maurice El Madiouni, Protégé, Alborosie, and Queen Omega amongst others. Gayle is a young genius from Jamaica who has directed videos with Sly & Robbie, Tanto Metro & Devonte, Queen Ifrika, Konshens, Busy Signal, Shuga, and more.
Hundu Lay Lay invokes people who love justice and humanity to
come together in the spirit of unity and healing. Nesbeth’s video implores the people to stand up for what they believe in. Instilling positive messages and inspiration for the whole world, Nesbeth claims, “We will triumphant!” It is through messages like this; he hopes to help repair the many social ills we face in society.
Sticking to strong Rastafarian roots, you can see elements represented through color schemes; the drumming that signifies freedom, and the lyrics in the song. The children have been mourning and suffering in different forms yet Hundu Lay Lay is a clarion call to stop that suffering. It is a cry to invest in the future of the youth and create environments to foster their development. Hundu Lay Lay is set to follow in the footsteps of his last released single Taste Victory, which is also on the Victory EP. It sent tremors across Europe reigning at number one on SFDC Radio Weekly Chart for several weeks and other charts.
Nesbeth has already begun to create a demand in Europe during the summer reggae festival season and will be a featured act on Reggae Geel, Reggae Jam, and Reggae Salute. Hundu Lay Lay will spark a light across the world creating an even larger demand. For more information or to set up interviews, contact publicist Olimatta Taal,
