Navino Delivers Solid Performance In Ontario, Canada
On Saturday night, Dancehall artiste Navino was the toast of the town when he invaded Brantford, Canada as headliner for a concert in the Southern Ontario city.
Coming out in their droves amid snowfall, the Canadian fans were treated to a musical feast from several local stars followed by a scintillating thirty minutes set from the Jamaican. During the performance Navino showed noticeable growth, taking time out on several occasion to interactive with his audience, much to the delight of the masses especially the female populous.
Serving up hits such as Party Me Seh, If It’s Not Money, It’s Alright and his breakout single Chillin Time on the award winning Overproof Rhythm interspersed with new material a seemingly jocund Navino said he was very pleased with the outcome.
In a release to the media Navino explained that, "it was a great feeling to see my North American fans responding to my music in such a manner. The people showed me a lot of love from the moment I got on stage, so I just fed off their energy and gave them a great performance. These are the kind of things that give me the drive and motivation to go on."
Despite facing several challenges last year, the burgeoning singer is intent on leaving an indelible mark on the industry this year with the promotion of two new singles namely: DNA and Little Miss on the Cyaatame Music and Jwill Records imprint respectively. Plans are also afoot to shoot a pair of accompanying videos.
Navino is expected to return to the island this week ahead of a local stint at the Jamaica Pegasus on January 30th.
