Multiple nominations for Roots Reggae singer Khalilah Rose

Fast-rising reggae songstress Khalilah Rose is one of the top nominees in this year's Linkage Music Awards which will be held at the Thornton High School in Mount Vernon on Saturday, March 16.
Khalilah Rose who is known for hits such as Hail Him and Your Eyes, has picked up a total of five nominations. She has been nominated for Outstanding Achievement In Music, Breakthrough Artiste Of The Year, Female Artiste Of The Year, Singer Of The Year, and Cultural Artiste Of The Year.

In a recent interview, the artiste said she was happy and honoured to have received so many nominations in the Linkage Awards, which sees her going up against the likes of Lady Saw, Tony Rebel, Tarrus Riley and Hezron in some of the categories.
"It's truly an honour to be nominated for so many awards along with all these outstanding artistes. It shows that my work is making an impact in the reggae music world and for this, I'm truly grateful ... to Jah be the glory," said the artiste.
When asked if she believes she will take home all five awards, she said, "I don't worry about such things, I'm more concerned about spreading the message through my music and playing my part to restore reggae music to its rightful position."
