Matthew Radics - Water Rising (Official Video)
Water Rising is an anti establishment song coming from the perspective of a young man trying to escape the negative lifestyle influences around him in the system.
Observing how the corrupt Political and Banking systems continue to violate the rights of the planet and people amidst increasingly frequent natural disasters and wars, Radics tells a story of personal development and growth that takes him from the narrow minded ghetto mentality of his environment to the realisation of a bigger picture and problem on our planet.
Taken from the album: JA Rydaz by SoundKillaz, the video was filmed and edited by Marvin Daley of CaptureHouse London and filmed in the suburbs of south east London. The song was written and produced by Matthew Radics with the beat produced by Kron, best known for his involvement with Governo Sombra and Triangle Durado in Portugal. Mixed by his brother Rivah Jordan of SoundKillaz Music and mastered at Tuff Gong Studios, Water Rising announces Matthew Radics as a solo artist with a new direction and message.
Having grown up around the music industry as a result of their father Jack Radics’ success, Matthew and Jordan always aspired to have their own production company and record label. After initially working with various groups and labels on the UK hip hop scene like Big Dada and Dented records, they were christened ‘SoundKillaz’ by friends and fans due to their versatility and lyrical skill. Eventually returning to their Reggae roots in Jamaica they formed a record label and have since worked with established names including Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Anthony Red Roze, Michael Rose, Sly & Robbie, Prezident Brown, U Brown and of course their father. With new products on the way from Prezident Brown and Rivah Jordan, SoundKillaz Music now presents the video for Matthew Radics’ ‘Water Rising’ ahead of the release of his ‘1 Eye Man’ EP scheduled for this coming winter.
