Konshens, Sean Paul climb Billboard Digital Reggae Singles chart
Fresh from their recent performance on the top-rated Arsenio Hall show on WPIX, Konshens and Sean Paul are making moves on the Billboard Digital Reggae Singles chart.
Their collaborative effort, Want Dem All, jumps from number 25 to land at number 15 on this week's Billboard chart. Since its digital release, the single has to date sold more than 10,000 copies.
Konshens is quite upbeat about the progress of the song and its reception from fans. "It's a great body of music and I'm singing alongside one of our country's icons. I'll let you guess how I feel about it," Konshens said in a media release.
Having appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show alongside Sean Paul, Konshens says there are promotional plans for the song which he will be a part of. "Yeah, man, we have a number of promo plans that I'm very excited about. The energy from Sean and his team is great. Mi love dem vibe," said Konshens.
Want Dem All debuts at number 25 on the weekly South Florida Reggae chart. It is at number 28 in its second week on the New York Reggae chart.
Konshens is also charting on the South Florida Reggae chart with To Her With Love (They Say). The song was produced by Notice Production. It is number six on the chart. Over on the New York Reggae chart, it sits comfortably at number 2 for a second week.
Konshens has a number of projects in the pipeline, including his forthcoming studio album Hotel Room. There's also the Feenin rhythm project being released from his Subkonshus label which features Darrio, Delus, Javada and 'Massicka', among other acts.
