KATCHAFIRE Ignites the Flame with “Addicted”
KATCHAFIRE has added new fuel to the ‘Fiyah’ in the form of brand new single aptly titled Addicted. The track has been released ahead of their forthcoming 5th album which features collaborations with Jamaica’s finest.
The smooth, mid tempo track ignites a fire in the hearts of lovers and resonates a feeling of undiluted joy.
The accompanying visual has racked up quite a number of views on YouTube and beautifully depicts an intimate connection between lovers, with a breathtaking backdrop of the countryside of New Zealand where the group hails from. The love filled lyrics comes to life in the vivid portrayal and further reinforces the lucid bliss that couples share when they are in love.
The feedback has been tremendous thus far, lead singer Logan Bell said “The boys are really excited about this chapter. We have been working hard to bring y'all some new fire… It’s sounding great to our ears and we can't wait to share with you! ‘Addicted’ is the first of a few singles before we hit you with our 5th studio album.”
Addicted made its way to retailers across the world on October 5th via Zojak World Wide and has since become a mainstay and a crowd favourite.
KATCHAFIRE are a talented touring eight-piece band that has won thousands of hearts around the globe with their innovative display of reggae music on a broad scale. They are known primarily for bringing a universal vibe with their sound built on foundations of classic roots reggae, RnB, funk and modern dancehall fusing with slinky pop, cool grooves and always an uplifting vibes.
The band has crafted a universal vibe, capturing something truly special in a diversity of instrumentation and clarity of sound and will continue to do so. For the rest of the year, the band will be releasing a few other tracks and videos from the upcoming album for their fervent fan base.
KATCHAFIRE is celebrating 20 years of fire this year and will be taking their Legacy Tour across England that kicks off on October 24th.
