Jermaine Edwards successfully releases his Fifth Studio Album 'Don't Count Me Out'!
Showers of blessing all day Saturday had little effect on the overwhelming support showed by patrons who attended the official launch event of Jermaine Edwards’ fifth studio album on Saturday night.
Performing to an almost packed house at 65 Waltham Park Road, Jermaine noted his surprise that in spite of the constant showers the audience came out to celebrate another achievement and blessing with his ‘Don’t Count Me Out’ project.
With support from acts represented on the album, his family, friends, sponsors and hardworking team, Jermaine delivered an inspiring and energetic show to kick-start the first of two weekends of album launch events.
With a professional sound, band outfit and laser lighting display, Jermaine kept true to the standard that is represented on the album itself; well produced, professional and with great attention to detail.
The event was hosted by Comedian Dwight Ross and Love 101 Radio Personality, Nadine Blair and also featured performances from Digicel Rising Stars 2013 winner Verlando Small, Rondell Positive, I Worship and Pastor Roma. Resounding words were also delivered from Representatives from Love 101’s Sales and Marketing Manager, Annoleah Wynter and Sponsorship Manager at Digicel, Tahnida Nunes.
“Jermaine has been a part of the Digicel family for more than four years now. In that time, we have watched
him grow and today, we are happy to be celebrating with him as he marks another milestone in his life and his career. His album, “Don’t Count Me Out” most definitely shows Jermaine’s maturity as an artiste, and more importantly, it shows the maturity in his ministry. It has gone to another level and we are so proud of him.” Tahnida remarked
Jermaine’s Father, Pastor Rowan Edwards, the leader of Light House Assembly in St Catherine congratulated his son on his achievement and blessed the Album as it is released around the world.
Jermaine interjected words and some testimony throughout his performance of the new material from the ‘Don’t Count me Out’ Album, sharing his challenges and his overcoming so much to get to where he is now with his ministry.
He closed the night’s event by inviting all members of his team who has worked on the album thus far on stage, thanking them for their overwhelming support.
The album launch events continue this Weekend in Montego Bay and Sav-la-Mar at the Open Bible Churches on Friday and Sunday Respectively.
The Album ‘Don’t Count me Out’ is now available digitally and in select stores locally such as Music Mart in Kingston, , La Vega Pharmacy in Spanish Town and Body and Soul in Mandeville.
