Jahmiel – Badness Bring Sufferation!
I have liked Dancehall artist Jahmiel from the first time I heard his chune “Mih Nuh Murdera.” Although he was very young when he first started (about 16), there was an authenticity and genuineness to his voice and lyrics that told me: 1. He is going to have a long career and 2. The future of Dancehall and Reggae is safe in his hands.
Jahmiel knows how to mix responsibility with having fun. His new Dancehall chune “Badness Bring Sufferation” tells us that he’s in tune with the fact that people need opportunities in life because if they don’t get them, badness will. The DJ says: “more children ah cry / more family sad / me ah / talk to dih thief dem who ah grabbing dih bag / more people ah dead more body go morgue / mummy still haffi spend when she have it so hard / badness bring sufferation…! Kaboom!
Neatly, Jahmiel makes it clear that the more guns that rise ‘is the more people dead’ and we can’t have that. This young man has started his own revolution, and he has thousands of people who agree with him!
On Saturday April 5th, 2014 (10am to 1pm), Jahmiel will be speaking to Jah Prince on DaFlava Radio about his views on music, and where it can take him and the younger generation he speaks to and represents. You definitely want to tune in for this!
Available right now is Jahmiel’s HOTTT new Dancehall chune “Badness Brings Sufferation.” You can download the single at the links below, and you can tweet with the artist >>> @ItsJahmiel
