Irie FM Started transmissions in July 1990, but went on air on August 1, 1990.

The tag line for this 100% reggae and dancehall radio station is, reggae in the morning, reggae in the evening and reggae at night.

Reggae Bash is an Irie's production of live performance that runs from 1990-2001. This is where some of the the best new artists are booked to show-offthere talent.

They have hosted some of the most talented and influential personalities across the globe like, Winnie Mandela, Louis Tarrakhan, Beenie man Buju Banton and Tarrus Riley.
