IQ Set To Release Video for “Carry On”
Fast rising reggae/dancehall artiste IQ is revelling in the success of his latest song Carry On.
The song has been getting such a good response worldwide, the artiste has decided to do the accompanying video for his growing fan base.
The video was directed and shot by Tripledose Visuals, and this marks the first official video to come from the team.
The cool hills of St. Ann and Clarendon served as backdrops to this visually stimulating masterpiece, bringing the words of the song to life.
“We wanted to incorporate a natural vibe so we worked with the elements. I am not for doing the typical, I want my fans to see something different and see me marvelling at some of the island’s most beautiful, hidden scenery. It is just a different setting, which the average Jamaican doesn’t see every day in a video.” Said a vibrant IQ
The video is set to be released worldwide on the 22nd of March, 2016.
The song itself has been creative waves both on the local and international market. Africa and the Caribbean especially have been giving a lot of positive feedback and Carry On has been a favourite amongst many noted radio deejays already.
“I am just happy with the overall love that I’ve been receiving and it can only get better from here.”
Tripledose Productions boasts credit for the production of the riddim. Titled One Step, the riddim features other artistes such as Jah Vinci, Turbulence, Fantan Mojah, Zamunda and more.
Fans of IQ can look forward to his upcoming performances at the Melrose Kite Festival on Good Friday and Alcoholism in St. Ann, on March 19. He will be performing his timeless hit single Stay With Me featuring Amanda, among other songs.
