I Octane
The contract signing took place recently at the Busta headquarters in Portmore, St Catherine, and I- Octane’s publicist/manager Ray Alexander was all smiles.
“I-Octane has a clean image and he is corporate friendly. He has a good management team of about 10 persons and we ensure that we push the brand in the best way possible. the brand is standing up, and we always try to keep ourselves away from associating with certain negative elements,” Ray Alexander said.
I-Octane also commented on the new contract, stating that the endorsement is a great accomplishment.
“It’s a good look for me and reggae music, it opens doors for me, reggae music and other artistes. Music for me is an everyday thing and the companies see that and respect my work ethics. These endorsements can hopefully break barriers for the local music industry,” I-Octane said.
The contract is for one year and will see the I-Octane and Busta brand mutually covering new geographical locations around the Caribbean via jingles, billboards and video footage.
“I-Octane is one of the largest known reggae artiste across the Caribbean. We were looking for an artiste that can represent that target market and I-Octane embodies that. As seen by his recent Youth View Award, he is popular in the youth circles so the partnership with I-Octane is definitely our best selection,” regional sales manager for Busta soft drink, Ricardo Skyers, said of the collaboration.
I-Octane is also the brand ambassador for telecommunications giant Digicel. He recently had that contract extended for another two years.
