Hydal admits to conning women in new 'Rental' single
With his Rental song gaining traction and controversial attention, Dancehall artiste Hydal has been fielding questions about the content of the single from various sources.
The witty single speaks about a man who rents vehicles and uses them to entice women while pretending he owns these cars. The concept of the song has sparked great debate online concerning men who lie about owning a rented car to impress a girl and the girls who believe and are easily impressed by them.
The controversial conversation about the Rental song has gotten even louder on social media with the release of the official music video a week ago, which shows verbatim the actions described in the song.
"I write about reality and this is actually what happens out there. Some women are more impressed with a guy that drives and some men are willing to lie about a rental car to get a girl," Hydal explained
Hydal himself admits that he has done this before in order to impress a girl. "Sometime you have to pull a one ‘con’ on a girl because you know she prefer a yute in a hot car, and yes I admit to doing this myself," Hydal added
Hydal however means no disrespect to females with the Rental song and wanted to make it clear this is not a generalization.
"A no every woman easily impressed by a guy in a nice car and I'm not saying that at all. The fact is however, that some girls have 'pretty car eye' and men will do anything including lie to get with them," Hydal concluded
The Rental single has been hailed as unique in it's content and delivery and is quickly becoming a certified hit for the artiste. Hydal already has a follow up track in the pipeline which is also produced by Yard Of Fame Music out of Spanish Town who produced the Rental track.
