Two of Jamaica's best contemporary voices in reggae, Nature and Gramps Morgan, have teamed up to record what can be best described as a truly soulful and inspirational song.
The single, aptly titled Journey, has all the makings of a modern-day reggae classic.
Produced and released on the Downsound imprint, Journey is reminiscent of such musical gems as Jimmy Cliff's I Can See Clearly Now and Buju Banton's Till I'm Laid To Rest.
Nature said the idea for the song came about in a natural way.
"The way we came up with this song was just so natural. Gramps and I were in the studio holding a vibes and the next thing you know we find this tune. It's just one of those things that happens when talented people come together to do Jah works," said the artiste.
Nature said since the song's release he has been getting a lot of positive feedback from members of the public and industry insiders.
"Everybody love this song, I've been getting a lot of positive comments from people about it."
Nature recently delivered a spellbinding performance, at the To Mom With Love, Mother's Day showcase held at LIME Golf Academy, headlined by American R&B icons The Manhattans and Rose Royce.
He wooed the large audience in attendance with original material such as MamaYou Save Me, World Peace, Trying Man along with renditions of Dennis Brown's For You, Garnett Silk's Mama Africa and Tracey Chapman's Revolution.
During his performance, members of the audience could be heard commenting on the quality of his performance. One person was heard saying his movements onstage during his delivery reminded him of legendary reggae icon Bob Marley.
Nature is currently in the studios working on a number of other recordings as he continues to work towards the completion of his first album for Downsound Records.
He's also scheduled to return to the US, in a few weeks, for a series of concerts in New York.
The music video for his cover version of Revolution is currently in the number-one spot on the CVM TV Hit List Reggae Chart.
