GOSPLASH 2015 promises Wholesome Family Entertainment for third staging.


July 15, 2015 Kingston Jamaica Come Emancipation Day August 1st, the third staging of the all-day Gospel event, Gosplash, is slated to envelope the shores of Sugarman’s Beach in Hellshire St Catherine.




The event, conceptualized by Radio Broadcaster, Markland ‘Action’ Edwards CEO of Action Entertainment, saw the demand for a wholesome, family oriented Christian event on the local entertainment calendar and met this demand two years ago.



Dubbed; Credit Unions of Jamaica Gosplash 2015.......Double Praise, Two gospel concerts and one family fun day, the ultimate Christian retreat has this year copped a title sponsorship from The Credit Unions of Jamaica and has added a bevy of activities to make the event more exciting.



“While we are thankful for the products and services being offered by some of our first time and repeat sponsors, the partnership with the Credit Unions of Jamaica was established last year when they partnered with us. This year they have come on in a bigger way and for that we are indeed grateful and trust that this partnership will remain and continue to get stronger as long as there’s Gosplash on the entertainment calendar”. Edwards stated.



The headline act for this year’s event is internationally renowned, Jamaican Reggae and Dancehall Gospel recording artiste, Papa San. He will share the stage with DJ Nicholas, Ryan Mark, Omari, Chozenn, Katalyst Crew, Jodian Pantry, Dawn Martin, Bishop Everton Thomas and others.



Credit Unions of Jamaica Gosplash 2015 is not only for those who are professing Christianity but for those as well who
are seeking wholesome entertainment for themselves and their entire family. The event features two gospel concerts this year; a ‘midday medley’ gospel concert and the main Gospel Splash at 5pm. The event will also sport family oriented competitions with prizes as well as rides for the kids provided by Wild Rides Party Rentals from 10am – 10pm.



Action Entertainment has great plans in store for this growing unique event as well.

“My goal is to see Gosplash grow into a mega family oriented summer calendar event with enough sponsorship to offer more to the patrons. I would also like to take this experience to other parts of the island and other Caribbean islands”. Markland ‘Action’ Edwards explained



With an extensive advertising campaign that will begin after the official launch which took place on Monday July 13, 2015. Patrons can look out for more information on the event itself and features on the fantastic artiste lineup.

A part of the mandate for the event is social responsibility and charity; part proceeds from Credit Unions of Jamaica Gosplash 2015 will go towards assisting the Braeton Primary and Junior High School with their Computer Lab.
