Good Response To Razor B New Single Nah Get Nun
Still riding high from his recent hit "Whine And Stop", Canada based Dancehall artist Razor B has released the follow up single "Nah Get Nun (Trailer Load)". The song was produced by DJ Tropical and is featured on the Baxx Riddim.
‘I was in the studio with Zege Sun and the riddim was playing and I started to freestyle. It was a connection and I recorded the song shortly after. It was just a smooth dancehall vibe and I didn’t even write it down. We just had a good time working on the track’, Razor B explained.
In explaining the concept behind the song, he noted that it came as a tribute of sorts to veteran Dancehall deejay Shabba Ranks.
‘Shabba Ranks set the tone for Dancehall Reggae on a global stage and the Ting-A-Ling-A-Ling Riddim is known internationally. This is my tribute to a great artist’, Razor B noted.
Among the other artists featured on the Baxx Riddim are Gage, Navino, Gangoolie and Patexx.
Due to the overwhelming response that he received from disc jocks and selectors, he decided to throw the promotional muscle behind "Nah Get Nun".
‘The team has stayed focused on promoting "Whine And Stop" which is getting great response internationally. We like to send singles to select disc jocks to garner feedback and their response. We sent "Nah Get Nun" out and we were surprised at the immediate hype! It was amazing. We are sending the EP out to distributors in the next few weeks and shooting a few videos. Promo on the EP will start in about 2-3 weeks. Fans should be very very excited! It's dancing time again’, said Razor B.
On a recent promotional run in Jamaica, Razor B performed at DJ Sigar’s birthday bash at Savannah Plaza in Kingston. He also did dates in Hamilton, Toronto, and in Niagara Falls, Canada.
