GAF JAM RECORDS RELEASES FIRST JUGGLING PROJECT ‘NO APOLOGY’
What started as a recording for the cover of Justin Beiber’s ‘Sorry’ by Kenny Smith and Bay C, has dramatically evolved into a full juggling project for Gafjam Records and Label CEO, Craigy T, couldn’t be more elated.
“The ‘No Apology’ juggling project was inspired by General Degree. After Bay-C had voiced his verse on the single with Kenny and I was mixing it, Degree was in studio with Marlon Easy and myself and heard the riddim and insisted that it was a hit.” Craigy T explained
The first juggling project for the GafJam Records label was soon to follow with recordings from artistes Lia Caribe ‘Unemployed’, Darrio ‘Friend With Benefits’, General Degree ‘You Mi Come Fah’, Hawkeye ‘Champion Jockey’ and Kenny Smith and Bay C ‘Sorry’.
Already the project has been premiered on Jamaican radio and received positive reviews; it has now been released to all media outlets and is expected to increase in rotation both locally and overseas.
Craigy T will also be looking at recording a ‘No Apology’ part 2 in a matter of weeks with additional artistes yet to be revealed.
“There has been additional interest by a few artistes to be a part of the ‘No Apology’ project and I myself will be voicing as a solo artiste on the part 2 release of the project” Craigy T shared
‘No Apology’ Part 1 though will have visuals very soon as the video has already been shot. Directed by Craigy T, Mr Perfect Image and Simeon Hedge, the completed video should be ready in a few days. Fans are expected to enjoy both the audio and visuals of the project.
“No Apology part 1 is good clean music with wittily edgy lyrics. The riddim has a sweet authentic dancehall groove which I've been told is even better than the Justin Beiber track. And the songs are awesome. Every artiste brought their A-game” Craigy T added
Additional projects are on the table for Gafjam Records including more new material from GafJam signed artiste Kenny Smith to preempt his full length Album later this year.
Craigy T's solo album in also set for a summer 2017 release and he will be releasing brand new material leading up to that project, including an exciting Craigy-T and Tarrus Riley collaboration.
No Apolgy Part 1 will be available for purchase on digital platforms later this month.
