EXODUS - I LOVE LIFE - THE DJ JIMI NEEDLES JUNGLE REMIX
Exodus has managed to prove anyone who’s ever doubted him wrong over time. Exodus recently delivered his hit dub-wise single “Walking in the Sun” (November 25, 2015) which has gained great attention and steady rotation on the European airwaves and also has almost 8000 YouTube views in just 3 months! “Not bad for an independent artist with no marketing budget”. Good job X!
Now, it seems that Exodus is experimenting with musical genres and releasing a D&B/House single "I LOVE LIFE". (Set to be released on February 14, 2016)
For Exodus, music has always been the main objective; though he enjoys sharing his music to fans, he enjoys making it and exploring it even more.
Exodus teamed up with the extraordinarily talented and award winning DJ Jimi Needles (London, UK), the original turntable trickster and funk maestro. Jimi's musical origins are routed in hip hop, soul, funk and disco but brings to the turntables a fusion of pin-point scratching, breaks & bass music. His cut-n-paste antics leave virtually no genre untouched creating the ultimate live soundtrack whilst always showing recognition to old school and retro classics. He’s best known for his
intricate genre-spanning party mixtapes, deck-defying festival sets and his array of varied bootlegs & original productions on labels such as Rocstar, Bombstrikes, Respect Music & Jungle Strikes. 2015 saw Jimi take on huge stages at Glastonbury, Shambala and Blissfields as a solo artist, and an extensive tour with his soul band Ephemerals (Jalapeño Records). He's previously toured Australia, Europe & Russia, whilst holding down residencies and his own club nights within London. Needles produced the mind bending track and sound effects of the "I LOVE LIFE".
Exodus - “I’m really excited about getting out there and showing people it’s not just that style of music; We want to combine everything, I don’t really care about the genre, its all music and it transcends”. Big Respect & Thanks to Jimi Needles who worked on a superb masterpiece of sound!
