Eghe Nimose Releases Dancehall /Reggae EP

Nigerian artist and producer Eghe Nimose has released a dancehall/reggae EP titled "RumbaDub". The five track album featured Nigerian SOJ Da Legend with each representing a unique blend of his RumbaDub music which has flavour of Congolese rumba, dub, reggae and dancehall.


Eghe Nimose started working on the album late December 2021 and was excited to announce it June this year 2022. After much anticipation from his fans, the album was released under France-based record label: Miracle World Entertainment on October 31, 2022.

The release has a video of the first track "Let You Go" which was directed by Abuja top cinematographer KliffDirect and was co-directed by the artist Eghe Nimose. About the song "Let You Go", Eghe said these:

"Love is beautiful but when it turns sour, it becomes pain and ache. "Let You Go" is a song written out of frustration, after several attempts to mend a relationship. Some lines of the rap verses are in Nigerian Pidgin English "Me nor go come craze for you eh", while the last line of the chorus "Edomwen Nimose" reflects my birthplace "Edo" ``I can't forget my root".

Eghe Nimose started releasing music in 2017 with traditional Congolese rumba and highlife music but not until this year 2022 that he started defining his style which he termed "RumbaDub", this has started drawing attention with his growing fans on various platforms.
